Achievements & Educational Qualifications

Louie Lujanwas elected as the youngest mayor in California in 2001, for the City of La Puente.He had the highest vote total in the city’s history; a record that still stands today.  and also become the 13th member of the South Coast Air Quality Management District Board (SCAQMD). Additionally, being a dignified and respected professional in California, he also fulfilled an array of responsibilities to improve the air quality in the environment. Coming to his educational qualifications, graduated with honors from the University of Southern California (USC) with a B.A. in political science and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA). He also holds a prestigious degree of Master’s in Secondary Education (M.Ed.) from Loyola Marymount University (LMU). It is a quality education that makes him focuses on the intersection of complex policy and political issues.
